Fridays are for unwinding. Clear your body and mind with gentle somatics to relieve stress and tension. Each week has a new theme to explore through the body, mind and spirit. Are you looking for a safe space to explore your confidence, meet new women and feel inspired? Join Alyssa every Sunday at 11:00 am at Mindful Somatic Wellness for a 60 minute workshop exploring everything confidence from body image to career to parenting to intimacy. Join a community of like minded women while practicing your confidence and learning how vulnerability is power. This is a safe, inclusive space for all women and women presenting humans.

Let us pause to celebrate!

Celebrate our own being, connections in community and the ever present vibrations of sound.

Welcome to a safe space to tune in, settle down and connect and see how that can be a joyful celebration.

This trauma informed workshop includes a gentle movement practice to connect,, a journey through our senses and a trauma informed mindfulness and written practice. Leave feeling peaceful, informed and connected.

Pelvic Coherence for Survivors

How is your relationship with your pelvic floor? The pelvic diaphragm not only holds our reproductive organs, but is also related to our hips and walking, our breathing and voice. When our relationship with this part of our experience is disrupted it can lead us to feel disconnected and confused. Detached from our sexual self, our ability to move freely, and our self-expression.

'Survivors' include not only those who have suffered sexual abuse, but also pre and perinatal trauma, and non-consensual gynaecological/medical experiences. When our bodies and voices are not respected we carry that experience with us wherever we are.

This program is for anyone wanting to explore and improve their relationship with their pelvic-selves through gentle movement, mindfulness practices, body dialogue and sound. This course is trauma informed with a focus on safe inquiry.

Embodied Emotions

We commonly think about our emotions rather than feel them. We've been taught that our feelings are a cognitive process that can be reasoned away, rather than a language all their own. When emotions are repressed, or are left incomplete in the body we can experience a myriad of disorders: headaches, joint stiffness, muscles tension, and mental confusion. Increase self-awareness and understanding though the intelligence of your own emotions. This is a non-cathartic, gentle exploration of your feelings and emotions. Your body is speaking, are you listening?
