Sunday, Dec 28th | 1–3pm Most of us don’t need another plan. We need a way to land. Ritual, Rhythm & Rest is the final workshop in this year’s Mindful Somatic Meditation series. Together, we’ll explore simple, grounded practices that help you settle what’s been stirred, integrate what you’ve lived, and step toward the new year with a little more space inside. Ritual doesn’t have to be religious or complicated. We’ll explore small, repeatable acts that help your system arrive—something you can actually take home and use. Rhythm is regulation. We’ll work with pacing, breath, movement, and pause to support steadiness from the inside out. Rest is not a reward for finishing everything. It’s part of integration. We’ll practice rest as a valid form of mindfulness—especially at the end of a full year. Everything is taught in a trauma-informed, invitational way. You’ll be guided to practice at your own pace, make choices based on what your body needs, and take breaks whenever you want. What You May Leave With: - A simple, non-religious personal ritual you can use at home to help you land - A more rested, restored nervous system (or at least a clearer sense of what supports your rest) - A deeper felt sense of integration—more “I’m here” in your body, and less “I’m pushing through” - A few repeatable practices to support rhythm and steadiness as you move into the new year Who this is for You want closure that feels real—not rushed Your body is asking for slower, simpler, steadier You’re building a mindfulness practice that is body-led and trauma-informed Stillness is hard, and you want permission to practice in ways that include movement, support, and choice No meditation experience needed. Per Workshop Pricing: Supporter Rate – $65 Helps fund reduced and karma-rate spots for others who need access. Standard Rate – $50 Sustains the work and supports your facilitator. Reduced Rate – $35 For limited income—no questions asked. Free/Karma Spots Available If finances are a barrier, please reach out. Access matters. Choose the rate that reflects your current capacity. All pricing includes in-person or online attendance, recordings (if applicable), and optional reflection materials. Offered in person at the Mindful Somatic Wellness studio (Calgary) and online via Zoom. This series is a foundational step for those planning to join the Mindful Somatic Meditation & Therapeutic Contemplation Teacher Training launching in 2026.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances may arise, requiring you to cancel or reschedule your Mindful Somatic Wellness session. To ensure the efficient use of our time and resources, we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or changes to your scheduled consultation. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us at 403-889-1313 or info@mindfulsomaticwellness.com, at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. This allows us to offer the appointment time to other clients in need of our services. Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee a portion of or equivalent to a full session charge. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth and effective scheduling process.
