Service Description

Thursdays | 6:00–7:30 PM Jan 8 – Feb 26, 2026 (8 weeks) In-person at Mindful Somatic Wellness If your body feels tight, tired-but-wired, braced, restless, or like it can’t fully land—this series is for you. Somatic Unwind: Ground & Glow is an 8-week evening class designed to help you downshift stress through the body.. We’ll use gentle, guided somatic movement and mindfulness to support your nervous system toward more ease, steadier breath, and deeper rest. This is not a workout. It’s not performance-based. It’s slow, simple, and surprisingly powerful. You’ll be invited to move in a way that respects your limits, includes plenty of pauses, and teaches your system that rest is allowed. What to expect each week (90 minutes) - Arrive + settle (orientation, grounding, simple nervous system cues) - Slow somatic movement to unwind tension patterns (jaw, shoulders, spine, hips) - Gentle strengthening *without bracing* - Rest + integration pauses (so your body can absorb what you did) You’ll leave with * A calmer baseline (steadier, not “perfect”) * Less gripping and more breath room * Better awareness of your stress patterns *before* they take over * A small, realistic home toolkit (2–3 practices you’ll actually use) Who this is for * You carry stress in your body * You want movement that restores instead of depletes * You’re curious about somatics and want something gentle and grounded * You want a trauma-informed approach to mindfulness and movement **All bodies welcome.** Options will be offered throughout (chair, standing, floor). Investment (Sliding Scale) Choose the rate that matches your current capacity: Supporter: $280 (helps fund reduced + karma spots) Standard: $220 Reduced: $160 (no questions asked) **Karma spots available** — if finances are a barrier, email me. Trauma-informed Note: You are always in charge of your pace. Everything I offer is an invitation, not a demand. You can pause, opt out, or rest at any time.

This allows us to offer the appointment time to other clients in need of our services. Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee a portion of or equivalent to a full session charge. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth and effective scheduling process.
